Index Super Speciality Hospital has taken a pioneering step in healthcare by inaugurating Madhya Pradesh’s first Integrative Medicine Department along with a dedicated Dialysis Unit. The department will provide patients with a unique combination of Allopathy, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Yoga, and balanced nutritional therapy under one roof, ensuring holistic and patient-centric treatment. The department was inaugurated by Padma Shri Dr. H.R. Nagendra, Chancellor of S-VYASA University, Bengaluru and renowned yoga scientist, Dr. Sadanand Russell, Founder of Atma Ved Yoga, Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria, Chairman of Mayank Welfare Foundation, and Mr. Mayankraj Singh Bhadoria, Vice Chairman. On the occasion, an MoU was signed between Atma Ved Yoga and Index Super Speciality Hospital, while another MoU on Yoga Wellness was exchanged between Malwanchal University and Atma Ved.

Speaking at the event, Padma Shri Dr. H.R. Nagendra stated that different systems of medicine are not competitors but complementary approaches that together can provide the best possible treatment to patients. He emphasized that the scientific integration of Yoga, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, balanced nutrition, and modern medicine has demonstrated encouraging outcomes in managing chronic and lifestyle-related diseases. The Integrative Medicine Department will particularly benefit kidney patients by combining dialysis with complementary therapies to improve recovery and overall quality of life. The initiative is expected to create a new benchmark in healthcare services across Madhya Pradesh.
