A free mega health camp was organised at Jai Malhar Garden in Indore under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, marking the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public service. Organised under the guidance of MLA Ramesh Mendola, the camp witnessed the participation of a large number of residents from Assembly Constituency No. 2, who availed themselves of free health check-ups and expert medical consultations. The initiative aimed to make healthcare services more accessible to the community and promote awareness about preventive healthcare and the importance of timely medical intervention. The medical team from Index Hospital provided comprehensive consultation services, ensuring that residents received guidance on various health concerns under one roof.
Specialist doctors from Index Hospital examined patients presenting with a range of health conditions related to diabetes, eye disorders, general medicine, orthopaedics, skin diseases and women's health. The medical team provided appropriate consultations, treatment guidance and recommendations for further investigations wherever required. Patients were also educated about disease prevention, regular health check-ups and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle. The camp served as an important platform for residents to seek expert medical advice without financial barriers and understand the need for early detection and management of common health problems. The medical services were provided by Dr. Sudhir Maurya, Dr. Warsi Tallouri, Dr. Shubhang Sanyal and Dr. Salman Kachba. Binay Tiwari, General Manager – Marketing, and Shivam Kushwah from Index Hospital also contributed to the coordination and smooth management of the camp.
The camp was attended by MLA Ramesh Mendola, City President Sumit Mishra, Vice President Dr. Deepti Singh Hada, Speaker Munnalal Yadav, MIC Member Rajendra Rathore, City Minister Swati Kashid, Chandu Rao Shinde, Ganesh Goyal, Manish Chorat, Rohit Chaudhary, Prithvi Gore, Kamal Chauhan, Guddu Kumaun and Akhilesh Singh, along with other public representatives and office-bearers. MLA Ramesh Mendola highlighted that bringing healthcare services closer to the public is an essential aspect of public service, adding that such initiatives encourage people to seek timely medical advice and become more conscious of their health. City President Sumit Mishra appreciated the efforts of the organisers and the medical team in providing free healthcare facilities to residents. Through its participation in the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, Index Hospital reaffirmed its commitment to community healthcare, preventive medicine and accessible medical services for the well-being of society.
