BLOGS 800-Gram Tumor Successfully Removed After 4-Hour Surgery at Index Super Speciality Hospital A dedicated team of doctors at Index Super Speciality Hospital has successfully removed an 800-gram tumor from a woman’s abdomen after a meticulous 4-hour surgery. The 48-year-old woman from Khurai had been suffering from severe abdominal pain, excessive menstrual bleeding, weakness, and dizziness for several days. Despite treatment at various hospitals, her condition did not improve. Dr. Pooja Jain, who led the surgical team, explained that the patient had been troubled by abdominal pain and other issues for a year. Comprehensive tests revealed that she had developed a rare condition known as a big cervical fibroid. This type of tumor is found in only a small percentage of patients. Once her condition was stabilized, the surgery was performed, resulting in the successful removal of the 800-gram tumor. The surgical team, which included Dr. Pooja Jain, Dr. Anjali Patil, Dr. Syed Mubarik, Dr. Anmol Daniel, and Urologist Dr. Nilesh Guru, along with PG Doctors Dr. Sonam, Dr. Shivani, Dr. Apoorva, and Dr. Shivam Tomar, worked seamlessly to provide this life-saving treatment.
